Hands-on work at the forge allows each participant to step out of their comfort zone, learn new skills, and experience true team spirit.

The event begins under the guidance of a professional blacksmith who introduces the ancient art of forging and provides the necessary instructions for beginners. After the introduction, the practical tasks start, where each team member picks up a hammer and iron to make their very own blacksmith nail—a simple but historically significant piece that teaches the basics of forging techniques.

The next stage takes teamwork to a completely new level: we’ll try two-person forging, where one team member is the striker, while the other holds the metal and indicates where to hit. This task requires good communication and precision, offering a fun and cooperative challenge.

The highlight of the event is creating a Damascus steel billet using a forging press. Participants get to try the famous Damascus steel technique, experiencing the power of the press while crafting a unique steel block that can be turned into a visually stunning piece or saved for further processing.
